Aerobics is an activity or physical exercise that the body needs to be physically fit and can be maintained for a long period of time, it combines rhythmic exercise and strength training. Its goal is to improve all the elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular, strength and cardio-vascular fitness). It trains the heart, lungs and cardiovascular system to deliver oxygen more quickly to every part of the body to keep it in good condition. Aerobic exercise burns fat faster than any other form of exercises. It is generally practiced by group with background music which is usually led by an instructor although it can be done by solo and without musical accompaniment. A person who is physically fit can work longer and more vigorously. |
